Beneficio La Angostura is a small family owned and operated micro mill located in León Cortés, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. This is the smallest farm we work with and one of the newest coffees chosen for this year’s Single Origin options offered by TCR. The Jimenez-Chacón family produces and processes small lot, bold flavored coffees that are unique and high quality. Two generations of family members are involved in every aspect of the coffee production. The owner, Don Mario, and his two oldest daughters run the majority of the operation and have tremendous experience and knowledge in coffees grown in this region. Their coffees are grown and processed at an elevation of more than 1700 meters above sea level.

Tamarindo Coffee Roasters (TCR) was established in 2017 to produce freshly roasted, high quality Costa Rican coffee. We offer Direct Trade, Single Origin coffees from Tarrazu, Central Valley, and two regions of Guanacaste. Our vision is to create awareness and education around specialty coffees grown in Costa Rica and to provide an experience with every cup. We pride ourselves on working directly with sustainable farms and strategic partners to deliver the best coffee Costa Rica has to offer.

Tamarindo Coffee Roasters currently offers four different varieties of freshly packaged coffee. All coffee is roasted on site and fresh at all times. Cupped coffee beverages are brewed fresh and available to enjoy on site or for take away.
